Union Minister of the National Unity Government, U Aung Myo Min

Union Minister of the National Unity Government, U Aung Myo Min, attended the (2nd) anniversary of the People's Revolution Ceremony and the (6th) anniversary of the Rohingya Genocide held at the American Embassy in Geneva, Switzerland.



In his speech, the Union Minister said that the crimes committed against the Rohingya in Myanmar cannot be denied. Then,he proceeded to discuss the need to recognize these crimes and work to ensure that justice can be achieved, and the issues being dealt with by the National Unity Government regarding the Rohingya issue were also discussed.



The ceremony was hosted by the ambassador to the United States, Mrs. Michèle Taylor, head of the US-based Genocide Archives. Along with Ms. Naomi Kikoler and Rohingya activist Ko Tun Khin Kato also delivered speeches.



Ambassadors based in Geneva also attended the event. As Union Minister, he included the Rohingya issue on April 4th, 2022, the United States in the speech and moreover, at the Holocaust Museum in New York, NUG discussed the ongoing process of justice related to the genocide and Commitments were clearly stated.
