Ministry of Human Rights, Union Minister U Aung Myo Min and Ministry of Labor, International Relations Officer U Kyaw Soe Moe, Central Executive Member of the Confederation of All Trade Unions of Myanmar (CTUM), Daw Khaing Zar Aung, visited the U.S. Thea Mei Lee, former Deputy Undersecretary of the International Labor Affairs Bureau, Department of Labor
and the U.S. Kelly M. Fay Rodriguez, special representative of the Department of State Office of International Labor Affairs, and US government international labor officials reportedly met today, June 14, 2023, in Switzerland, Geneva.
In the meeting, the issues that can be acted upon for the violation of the rights of the workers in Myanmar. The real government, employer, and the representatives of labor for having a chance to attend the International Labor Conference, and he said that representatives of labor attended and discussed the topics that can be done regarding Myanmar's democracy, including the ability to take effective actions regarding violations of labor rights.
