Three people were killed in an airstrike in Htilin Township, 12 injured.


In Long Bo Lai village, Hilin Township, Magway Region, the National Unity Government (NUG) public administration office building was bombed by the military junta yesterday afternoon on April 20th, killing three people. Locals said that 12 people were injured.

"Pa-A-Fa - Public administration office was bombed, and three members of the People's Defense Forces (PDF) died on the spot and about 12 people were injured. The deceased were two male and one female members of the public administration.”


“Among the 12 injured are eight female and four males, including a person in charge of helping war refugees”, said an official of the YRA based in Hilin. A total of nine women were among the injured and the deaths.


“On April 20, at around 12:20 p.m. in the afternoon, a jet flew over the village of Long Bo Lai in Htilin Township and dropped three bombs: (YRA) officials and local residents said.

(YRA) officials and local residents said that the Military Council Army received specific information about the presence of the (NUG) Public Administration Office in Long Bo Lai village and then the air attack was carried out.

After the military dictatorship, the armed resistance has risen, and the phone lines are currently cut off in Htilin and Gantgaw townships in Magway.

Locals said that after the airstrike, the military council army stationed at Shwe Htee Hall in Htilin Township and about 100 members of PyuSawHtee are patrolling the villages from the ground and clearing the area. Hundreds of residents of 13 villages, including the villages of PazinChaung, Wa Bo Chao and Long Bo Lai, are said to be fleeing to safety.
