There will be a flower strike on Aung San Suu Kyi's birthday
State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi's 78th birthday will be held on June 19, and the revolutionary forces said that the people can also participate in appropriate ways.
The General Strike Coordinating Committee GSCB said that this movement will be done as a show of respect and that was aware of all those arrested by the military council, including Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
The revolutionary forces have been leading activities in which the public can participate every year on June 19, the birthday of the State Counselor, who has been arrested and imprisoned by the military council since the coup.
The General Strike Coordinating Committee (GSCB) has informed that this year's flower strike campaign may include online and offline flower-related activities.
The GSCB said men can participate online and offline in addition to chest embroidery, as people, put up new vases, and embroidery inside and outside the house and in front of the house. Preparing and hanging flowers, women
can take flowers on their heads.
The military council threatened to prevent public activities to commemorate Aung San Suu Kyi's birthday every year. They often try to disguise themselves and have had some arrests for participating in these activities.
On June 19th, in addition to the flower strike movement, artists, and well-known celebrities are also expected to perform online with songs such as "Strengthened Mother, Blood Storm, Blood Truth".
