The UK government has sanctioned an arms broker and jet fuel importer who are in connection with terrorist, military council.

• Tun Min Lat - Director of Star Sapphire Trading Company Limited, which provides restricted products or technology, and his company has previously been banned by the UK in the past.
• Shoon Energy Pte Ltd - a company that benefits from the supply of jet fuel to the Myanmar Military Air Force.
• Khin Phyu Win - is a current director and shareholder of Shoon Energy Pte Ltd.
Anne-Marie Trevelyan, UK Minister for Indo-Pacific Affairs said "The UK condemns the military's brutal actions against the Burmese people." "The UK will continue to work closely with its partners to support the Burmese people and hold the military council accountable for its actions,".
“Today's rulings are the 15th sanctions against Myanmar's military dictatorship. These closures are coordinated with international partners, along with similar measures initiated by the United States," the UK embassy said in a press release.
