The two cases of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and U Win Myint are scheduled to be heard in July.

It is reported that the Supreme Court of the Union will have a hearing on the preparation of the two cases of State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and President U Win Myint in the first week of July.

According to a person close to the court, a hearing will be held for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi's imprisonment under the Government Secrets Act and President U Win Myint's electoral influence under Section 130 (a) of the Penal Code.

"On July 5, there will be two cases of criminal preparation, and the first one being the election case of the other two including U Win Myint and Minister U Min Ho. It is known that Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and five people who were with Sean Turnell were punished under the government secrets law."

Daw Aung San Suu Kyi's lawyer team visited the Military Council's Nay Pyi Taw Prison Department in 2023 to allow them to meet in person. Since the second week of January, I have sent an official letter asking for permission to meet, but until today I have not been allowed to meet.

State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is serving a 33-year prison sentence in a private building in Nay Pyi Taw Prison for 19 cases accused by the Military Council.

President U Win Myint has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for eight cases accused by the Military Council as well.
