The President of Ukraine has arrived in Hiroshima to attend the G7 meeting.
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy is in Japan to attend the G7 industrial summit meeting. He arrived in Hiroshima just a few hours ago.
Before President Zelenskyy came to Hiroshima, he attended the Arab League conference held in Saudi Arabia, and he accused some Arab leaders are being ignorant and modestly turning their backs on the Ukraine-Russia war.
The secretary of the National Security Organization of Ukraine said that President Zelenskyy’s trip to Japan is "the most important trip to protect the interests of the country."
After saying that, President Zelenskyyy arrived in Hiroshima on a French government plane.
The United States, a member of the G7, where the president himself is attending the meeting, has announced that it will provide fighter jets, including F-16 fighter jets, along with its allies to increase military aid to Ukraine.
It is reported in the media that there is public interest because it came out under the uncertain circumstances of President Zelenskyy’s trip to Japan, whether he will attend the meeting himself or not.
G7 was formed with the United States, Great Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan, but this year, Australia, India, Brazil, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, and in the addition, Comoros representing the African Union, and Cook Islands representing the Pacific Island Nations have been invited.
