The National League for Democracy sent a message on the 76th anniversary of Martyr's Day
Promise to promote political legitimacy and fulfill the expectations of martyr leaders by quickly reaching the goal of establishing a federal democratic union.
The National League for Democracy has sent a message on the 76th anniversary of Martyr's Day, which falls on July 19.
In the message, it is stated that by using the parliaments, which are the people's delegation power entrusted by the people through the elections in the Spring Revolution, to promote political legitimacy and to quickly reach the goal of establishing a federal democratic union, it is promised to fulfill the expectations of the martyr leaders.
NLD said that the Myanmar Army, which was formed with the good intentions of gaining the independence of Myanmar and protecting the people, turned a blind eye to the wishes of the people and seized power by military leaders who wanted to gain power for their interests.
In the spring revolution that occurred due to the military seizure of power in 2021, the entire ethnic population gathered together in the aspirations of federal democracy, and it is stated that the determination to advance towards the goal has become stronger.
The message states that the National League for Democracy has sent a message of remembrance to all the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives on the road to the federal democracy envisioned by the generals, who gained independence while revolutionizing the imperialist system, as well as revolutionizing the military dictatorship.
