The Military Council fired Mi35 helicopter attacks in the forest areas around AYarTaw Village, South MaLalThar Village, and Kamantha Gone.


It is said that the military council attacked MaLalThar Village and the surrounding areas of MaLalThar Village in the southern part of Harthaw Township, where martial law had been declared, with Mi35 helicopters.


The airstrikes began after martial law was announced in villages in ShweBo District of Sagaing Division, such as AYarTaw Wet Lek. At 2:00 p.m. today, in the southern part of AYarTaw Township, It appears that the Military Council Army is firing Mi35 helicopter attacks in the village of MaLalThar and the forest areas, according to the local revolutionary news agency AYarTaw Post.



"I think it was around 11 o'clock this morning. Since then, the sounds of large and small weapons have been heard in the southern part of the city. Helicopters are also used. Since yesterday, it seemed like there were attacks.. We don't know the details yet," said a local.


The Mi17 helicopter can not only fight but also drop reinforcements to the area surrounding the battle, according to the report from AYarTaw.


On February 22, local resistance forces preemptively attacked the army that had advanced to Minyawgyi, and the battle was fierce. Yesterday evening, a military helicopter fired on the area around Minyawgyi, causing about 30 houses to catch fire.


The military council troops are declaring martial law in the areas that cannot be ruled by the Tutos, and yesterday, January 22, martial law was declared in the villages of Wat Lak AYarTaw and ShweBo.


Among the 38 municipalities in Sagaing Division, 14 municipalities were declared under martial law in February. As of today, 47 municipalities in Myanmar have been declared under martial law.
