SCR, which reports on the news of the Security Council, reported that the case of airstrike attack that occurred on April 11th in PaziGyi village, Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Division, will be discussed at the UN Security Council meeting which is to be held on April 13th.

A draft statement to be released by the UN Security Council strongly condemned the said attack.

It is also stated that the plan to discuss the PaziGyi village airstrike attack was added by the request of the United Kingdom.

It calls to hold the military council responsible for the attack and to stop all terrorist attacks, to provide humanitarian aid and the implementation of Security Council Resolution No.(2669).

Although the draft statement was supported by the majority of Security Council members, the report also stated that China and Russia are trying to protest that the reports of the news media and the eyewitnesses about this attack are inconsistent with the information sent by the Myanmar military.
