The National Unity Government, Ministry of Defense, Southern Military Region Command and Special Operations Forces, S.O.F, troops did good deeds as monks, nuns, and novices during Thingyan New Year
Front row from the troops in the rear and security camps did good deeds as 32 monks, 5 nuns and 5 novices; 42 in total who did good deeds as a religious act.
The good deeds ceremony was held in KNU Brigade (6) area. It was held on April (11th) in Kyarinseikgyi Township. It is also said that the National Unity Government, the Ministry of Defense and the members of Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw(CRPH) members, revolutionary forces, and the public have made donations as well.
S.O.F's statement also stated that they would like to thank the donors, military personnel, family members and the public who helped make the donation possible.
