Volker Türk, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, said that action will soon be taken against Myanmar's military dictators

On April 11th, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights announced that international action would be taken against the crimes committed by Myanmar's military dictators.

Volker Türk, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, stated that he felt deeply sad by the fact that hundreds of people, including children and women, were killed when the military Council attacked Pazigyi Village in KanBaLu Township on April 11th.

Attacking people instead of protecting them is a flagrant violation of international law. He also said that there are many witnesses of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Therefore, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, said that he believes that the day will soon come when the military leaders who commit such crimes will be punished.
