Hpakant rally supports KIA and NUG and condemns Airbus and China’s for supporting junta’s airstrikes

In Hpakant Township, Kachin State, a rally was held in support of the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and the National Unity Government (NUG) while opposing the Airbus company and the Chinese government for assisting the Myanmar military junta in conducting airstrikes. Protesters held signs reading, “Airbus! Stop investing in war crimes.”

The French aerospace giant Airbus is a partner and investor in the Chinese state-owned Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), a major supplier of fighter jets, combat aircraft, and military transport vehicles to the Myanmar military.

During the demonstration, protesters also prayed for the success of the KIA, People’s Defense Forces (PDF), NUG, and other ethnic resistance organizations (EROs) in their battles against the junta and for a swift victory in the ongoing spring revolution.

The military junta recently launched airstrikes on a village in Hpakant Township, setting it ablaze and leaving it in ashes.
