Residents said that at least ten houses were destroyed by airstrikes by the Military Council on October 21, in the village of Upper Nyaungkone in Mogok Township. On October 21, Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) and the Military Council's 44th and 88th Infantry Division clashed near the village of Upper Nyaungkone. It is said that these airstrikes came after the intense fighting between them.


TNLA released a report last night on October 21 that the Military Council Army fired 36 times with heavy weapons and carried out an air strike after the military council army's officers were killed in a battle near the village of Upper Nyaungkone yesterday. It is also said that the battle was caused by the military council's attack on the military areas of the TNLA 2nd Brigade.

TNLA announced that on October 21, TNLA and military council troops clashed in TNLA Brigade 1 Region, Shan State Namhkam township, and a dead body of military council troops and some weapons and ammunition were seized.
