Health clinics were destroyed by the military council army.
ReliefWeb, a humanitarian data aggregator reported that in two weeks from last July 25th to August 8th, the military council army destroyed healthcare facilities in six provinces of Myanmar, six cases of arrests and prosecution of health workers, and on August 6, 2023, the military council army took the medicines from a clinic that was closed by the military council in Mahar Aungmyay Township, Mandalay Division. On August 4, four civilians who were receiving medical treatment at Dawei City Hospital were abducted by the military council army in Thanintharyi Division.
On August 2, a doctor from a private clinic in HpaKhant City was prosecuted under Section 505-A of the Penal Code for reasons that supported the non-violent civil disobedience movement CDs, the doctors involved in the CDM campaign were appointed by the clinic, and people who participated in the 2021 public protests were provided medical treatment. The military council gives force on the doctor at the Kyetsukyin Hospital in Yesagyo Township, Magway, that's why the doctor has stopped coming to the hospital since August 1, causing difficulties for the residents.
Reportedly, on July 27th, due to aerial bombardment by the military council army, including the clinic in Weyaw village, Thaton Township, Mon State, two monasteries and 13 houses were damaged. ReliefWeb reports that on July 25, a doctor's house in Myawaddy, Karen State was sealed off by the military council and the doctor has been charged under the Anti-Terrorism Act and is on the run.
