In October 2024, applications opened for financial aid aimed at covering the cost of temporary residence and work permits, commonly known as "pink cards," for members of the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) among Myanmar soldiers and police in Thailand.

Due to limited funding, more than 100 applicants were evaluated based on specific criteria, including active participation in the Spring Revolution, family size, and employment status. After a thorough selection process, 38 CDM soldiers and police officers meeting these criteria were chosen to receive financial support.

The first group of beneficiaries received their pink cards in November 2024, enabling them to reside and work legally in Thailand. The initiative seeks to alleviate financial burdens while supporting those actively resisting Myanmarโ€™s military regime.
