A seminar discussing China's involvement in the Myanmar crisis was held today at National Assembly in Seoul. The event, organized by South Korean lawmaker Lee Yoon-seon, a dedicated advocate for the Myanmar revolution, along with seven other lawmakers, was co-hosted by Professor Park Eon-hoon from the Asia NGO Department at Sogang University.


The seminar focused on the potential impact of China's actions on Myanmar's revolution and discussed strategies to overcome the challenges posed by China's involvement.


Participants included prominent academics such as Professor Choi Jong-hui from Seoul National University's Asia Research Institute, former International Relations Professor Bae Goun-chan, Professor Lee Yoon-bi from Sogang University's East Asia Department, Professor Jeon Jung-young from Korea University's Southeast Asia Research Institute, Seoul National University political science Ph.D. student Chan Lee-gyeol, and Hankuk University journalism Ph.D. student Khan Jin. These experts presented papers and engaged in in-depth discussions on the complex issue.
