Representatives of the National Unity Government (NUG) of Myanmar recently attended the annual meeting of the Japanese League of Parliamentarians Supporting the Democratization of Myanmar (Giren).


The officials from the NUGโ€™s Representative Office in Japan engaged in discussions about Myanmarโ€™s ongoing situation and future plans, exchanging views with Japanese lawmakers. Both sides engaged in constructive discussions regarding Myanmarโ€™s ongoing struggles and future actions to promote democratic reforms, according to a statement released by the NUGโ€™s Representative Office in Japan.


The NUG continues to seek international support to restore democracy in Myanmar, and this meeting marks another step in fostering greater international awareness and cooperation.โฉ
