U Yee Mon, the Defence Minister of the National Unity Government (NUG), recently visited a region in the Mandalay Region that is under the control of the Peopleโs Defense Force (PDF). During his visit, he met with key figures of the Mandalay PDF, including Mone Tine and Dr. Soe Thura Zaw.
โThe nationwide revolution, especially in Mandalay, is progressing steadily,โ said Dr. Tay Zar San in a social media post on November 30. โI hope that the people will continue to support the National Unity Government (NUG) and that there will be even greater unity and coordination between the NUG and ethnic armed organizations. Specifically, I hope that the NUG will improve its governance, defence, and financial management.โ
