Myanmar singer and songwriter Song Oo Hlaing is bringing hope to his homeland through music, embarking on a humanitarian concert tour in Japan. The tour, titled โ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ง๐ฆ๐๐ซ,โ will kick off on December 8th in Nagano City, followed by performances in Tokyo on December 15th and Shizuoka on December 22nd.
Tickets are currently available through Spring Festival. All proceeds from the concerts will be directed towards charitable causes in Myanmar. Song Oo Hlaing has personally committed to covering his own expenses for the tour.
Song Oo Hlaing, born on December 8, 1970, is a renowned Myanmar singer-songwriter with over 400 original compositions. He holds an MBBS degree from the University of Medicine 1, Yangon.
Following the 2021 coup in Myanmar, Song Oo Hlaing has been actively engaged in humanitarian initiatives. Among his efforts, he serves as a part-time blood donor in the United States, where he presently resides.
Revolutionary artists, such as Aye Chan May and Phyu Phyu Kyaw Thein, have recently organized fundraising concerts in support of the revolution, demonstrating their active contributions to the cause. Similarly, Kyar Pauk (also known as Han Htue Lwin), a revolutionary artist and singer based in France, is scheduled to host a live online concert on December 21, with tickets currently available for purchase."
