On November 2, ethnic communities in the western part of Demoso, Karenni State, gathered for a community prayer to pay tribute to the people who sacrificed their lives during the Spring Revolution, a region known for its strong resistance efforts.
In the days leading up to the memorial service, volunteers cleaned the graves. The ceremony began with the lighting of candles and the offering of tributes, accompanied by the recitation of sacred hymns and prayers.
