CDM doctors, health workers, and No. 3 Military Region provide health care to refugees in Winyay Township




On 27th July, the Ministry of Defense Southern Region No. (3) Military District the Deputy District Commander's Office of the National Unity Government, released news that they provided medical care and medical treatment to refugees in the 6th KNU Brigade in Mon State, Dooplaya District in Winyay Township by the CDM doctors, health workers together with the Winyaw War Relief Assistance Group.



Due to the terrorist army firing heavy weapons in the village about 4,000 residents of Pulein, Kale, Takhuntaing and Nanthainghtun villages in Winyay Township have been fleeing for more than a month since the end of June.



The Vice District Commander's Office has announced the people fleeing the war are facing difficulties in living and eating, as well as having urgent health needs because it’s rainy season.



Food distribution activities for refugees fleeing the war and health care were carried out with the help of local organizations, including the Winyaw War Relief Assistance Group.
