Call for the immediate cancellation of the ASEAN military training plan, which will be led by the terrorist Burmese military group and Russia.

Justice For Myanmar has called on the ASEAN Defense Ministers' Meeting (ADMM) to immediately cancel the anti-terror military drills being led by the Burmese terrorist group and Russia.
In this plan, which will be jointly led by the Myanmar terrorist group and the Russian government, ADMM and experts will hold a workshop on counterterrorism.
The working group attended their final preparatory conference for the military exercise in June in Khabarovsk, Russia, along with ASEAN members and partners China and India. United States, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and New Zealand reportedly boycotted the meeting.
That military training will include coordinated military training to respond to a terrorist attack and help train the capabilities of the military forces that are committing terrorist operations against the people.
Justice For Myanmar said that ASEAN's practical assistance and support in training the armed forces will further complicate the war crimes and crimes against humanity currently committed by the terrorist armed groups.
Ma Yadanar Maung, a spokesperson for Justice for Myanmar, said, "If the world community still needs evidence that ASEAN's 5 Common Agreements are not working successfully, then the act of training the Burmese military forces, who are terrorizing the people every day in ASEAN's fight against terrorism, is an undeniable and obvious example.”
ASEAN's planning and actions of training the military group will further complicate the terrorist attacks of the military group against the Burmese population. Instead of helping to solve the Myanmar crisis, ASEAN's actions will make things worse and more dangerous. This military training program is a testimony to the shocking failure of Indonesia, the chair of ASEAN, to uphold the principles of democracy and human rights. ASEAN should cancel the military exercises immediately. At all meetings, the terrorist military group must be banned, and the National Unity Government must be recognized and supported as the official government of Myanmar. If the exercises continue under the leadership of Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippine and Thai governments should boycott the exercise plans and stand with the Burmese people who support human rights and democracy," he said.
Since February 1, when the military group committed an illegal coup attempt, the military group terrorists have killed more than 3,600 people. More than 23,000 people were arrested illegally; Recklessly targeted air strikes; shootings, and torture, In addition to sexual violence, at least 1.5 million people were forcibly displaced.
