ASEAN and France strongly condemn the airstrike attack on PaziGyi village

Ihe chairman of ASEAN from Indonesia, has announced that ASEAN countries have strongly condemned the deadly incident in which over 100 people were killed in an airstrike by the military junta on April 11th in PaziGyi village, Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Division

All the military terrorist attacks, including violent attacks on civilians, need to stop immediately. Indonesia's statement stated that only if military terrorist attacks can be stopped, a situation will come where all-inclusive talks can be held to achieve sustainable peace in Myanmar.

In the same way, it is stated that France has the strongest objection to the airstrike attack on PaziGyi village. France stands with the Myanmar citizens and expresses its sorrow for the victims and their families.

Although ASEAN reached five common agreements with the coup leader in 2021, Reuters reports that ASEAN leaders are increasingly frustrated that Myanmar's military has not stopped attacking the National Unity Government (NUG) and opposition forces.
