An official from the New Generation Youth Strike Committee (NGYSC) reported that a protest against the military dictatorship took place at an undisclosed location in Yangon on October 5th. The protest was organized in response to the ongoing oppression and illegal conscription imposed by the ruling military regime.
During the demonstration, activists burned vinyl posters and leaflets while holding a banner with the slogan "If you press it, it will rise; if you provoke it, it will fight." The protesters emphasized their defiance against the military’s unjust practices. Additionally, the demonstration drew attention to the regime's illegal actions, including its plan to conduct a census, which the protesters view as a tool for further control by the military.
The NGYSC reiterated its commitment to opposing the military dictatorship and vowed to continue their resistance efforts despite the risks.
