A Dutch company that used banned Myanmar timber to construct luxury yachts has been fined โ‚ฌ1.5 million. The company, Oceanco, employed Myanmar timber in the construction of a luxury yacht named ๐Š๐จ๐ซ๐ฎ, which was built for Jeff Bezos, the billionaire founder of Amazon and one of the worldโ€™s wealthiest individuals.


The fine, totaling โ‚ฌ1.5 million, was imposed for violating international trade regulations by using the prohibited timber.
