The NYCBC group, based in New York City, announced on December 18, 2024, that the proceeds from the NYC Music Concert fundraiser will be donated to support war evacuation efforts and flood rehabilitation in Myanmar and along its border.

As the first donation from the concert, the NYCBC team contributed $10,000 to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of the National Unity Government. In recognition of the donation, the Ministry presented the NYCBC team with a certificate of honor.

The NYCBC highlighted that the success of this donation was made possible through the collective efforts of its members, volunteers, music artists, and supporters from New York and across the United States, as well as partner groups and music enthusiasts who contributed to the event.

This donation marks a significant step in the ongoing support for those affected by the crisis in Myanmar.โฉ
