A new village in Khin Oo Township was attacked and burned by the terrorist army. More than 3,000 people from 5 villages have to flee to safety.
Sagaing Division Residents said that more than 3,000 people in 5 villages had to flee to safety because the terrorist army opened fire on New Village in Khin Oo Township early this morning.
At 5:30 a.m. today, on June 1st, the terrorist military council troops stationed at Inpakway, and more than 100 Pyu from the Ywar Thit village, opened fire on the village next to the Khin U Township-Nyang Pintha highway in Khin Oo Township. It is reported that they are shooting at the locals with small weapons, entering the village and burning down the houses.
Due to the shooting and burning by the terrorist army, it is said that more than 3,000 residents of villages such as the Ywar Thit village, the village of Chanthar Gone, Segyi Village and Mutha Village have fled.
Residents said that the terrorist army and Pyu stationed in the Ywar Thit village, have looted and carried away food from villages more than 20 times.
It is reported that the terrorist column entered Mutha village with an additional force of more than 20 people.
