A group of lawyers submitted to allow Aung San Suu Kyi for meeting, but the military council refused
Some insiders said that the lawyer's team submitted a request to the Military Council for a meeting with State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi andPresident U Win Myintto in the second week of last January.
Final orders have been passed on the cases filed against the State Counselor and President To, but it is known that the Military Council has not given permission for the remaining appeal cases to be discussed.
Because of this, we do not know for sure about the health status of the consultant and the president, and because both are elderly, an insider said that they are worried.
It is reported that after the last remaining cases of the alleged cases against the State Counselor and President U Win Myint To were issued on December 30th, the legal team was no longer allowed to meet face-to-face and the contact between was cut off.
Currently, State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has been sentenced to 33 years in prison for 19 cases by the court of the Military Council and is being held in Nay Pyi Taw Prison.
President U Win Myint was sentenced to 12 years in prison for eight cases and was transferred from solitary confinement to Taung Ngu Prison.
