President Duwa Lashi La of the National Unity Government (NUG) has issued a strong call for all government members to return to Myanmar. He emphasized that the NUG cannot operate effectively as a remote government and must establish a physical presence on the ground.

At a cabinet meeting held today, President Duwa Lashi La stressed the need to shift focus from international affairs to domestic mobilization. He urged all overseas members to return and contribute to the ongoing revolution.

The President also acknowledged the evolving nature of the revolution and reassured the cabinet that the current changes are part of the process. He urged members not to be alarmed by these developments.

Recognizing the increasing pressure faced by armed groups with limited direct ties to the NUG, particularly from China, President Duwa Lashi La called for a strategic reassessment. He emphasized the need to develop alternative strategies to mitigate growing Chinese influence.

The President concluded by underscoring the importance of devising effective countermeasures against Chinese encroachment. He emphasized that the NUG must explore alternative approaches to ensure Myanmarโ€™s sovereignty.
