The Arakan Army (AA) has formally declared that it has taken control of the entire Ann Township in Rakhine State, including Ann Airport, all military bases, and all government offices. The only remaining area under control is the western regional military command.
Within the western regional military command of Rakhine State, the AA has successfully seized more than 30 military bases of the junta located in Ann Township. Although the military junta made repeated attempts to reinforce its positions along the Rakhine coastal region using helicopters, it was ultimately overwhelmed and defeated within three days due to coordinated attacks by the Arakan Army.
