According to serving coup army’s doctors, the coup army bombed a military hospital in Lashio, the capital of northern Shan State, Myanmar Military doctors who worked at the No. 9 (100-bed) Military Hospital in Lashio, the capital of Northern Shan State, Myanmar, said that when the Kokang Army troops entered, they safely evacuated doctors, wounded soldiers and family members without firing any weapons.

The battles continued before August 3rd, but the military hospital was not damaged. On August 3rd, a bomb fell in the operating room, and the injured and family members were in disarray. Military doctors and nurses continued to treat the patients. They did a lot to protect the hospital with Red Cross badges and avoid airstrikes, but the coup army bombed the hospital on August 3rd while there were patients, said a military orthopedic.

On August 3rd, at around 5:30 p.m., the Kokang Army MNDAA troops entered the military hospital and without firing a shot, the doctors, nurses, wounded soldiers and families were evacuated in cars through a nearby safe place.

An orthopedic said that there was an entry of Kokang troops into the hospital, and after finding the doctors and patients, they did not shoot and evacuated all the people to safety place. And if the patients were in emergency, they gave priority to the evacuation.

When the people arrived at a safe place, the Kokang Army provided them with the necessary medicines, food, clothing and equipment.

I am very grateful to the Kokang Army for providing compassionate support to family members and wounded soldiers when both sides were at war. This is something I did not expect, the orthopedic said on television. It is known that the coup army has ordered nationwide protests, alleging that the MNDAA shot wounded soldiers, military doctors, and military nurses at the Lashio Military Hospital.
