In the early morning of November 11, revolutionary forces launched an attack involving 24 kamikaze drones targeting the Meiktila Air Force Base and 99th Infantry Division near the air base. Key areas within the base were hit, including the residence for aviation training officers, an ammunition storage facility, an aviation production officerโ€™s quarter, Defense Factory No. 10 officersโ€™ quarter, and a radar station. The attack reportedly damaged two Y-12 aircraft and injured six junta soldiers, including two officers.

Following the attack, junta soldiers confiscated phones from people inside the airbase and attempted to cut off all communication within and outside the base. Two fire trucks entered the base to control the fires, as reported by the revolutionary forces.

This coordinated attack was reportedly carried out by revolutionary groups from Meiktila, Sagaing, and Myingyan townships, with support from the Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government (NUG). Technical assistance was provided by the Shar Htoo Waw Technology Team, and the attack was executed as part of the Golden Eagle (Shwe Lin Yone) Special Drone Operation.โฉ
