U Yee Mon, the Minister of Defense for the National Unity Government (NUG), has participated virtually in a commemorative meeting marking the 36th anniversary of the All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF), commonly known as the Student Army.

The online meeting was organized to address the challenges faced by the ABSDF’s armed forces on the ground. U Yee Mon’s participation underscores the NUG’s commitment to supporting the ABSDF and other armed resistance groups fighting against the military junta.
