At midnight on November 11, the military junta carried out an airstrike on Mogok, targeting Le Oo ward in the eastern part of the town, City Park area, and the western side of the town, resulting in the deaths of three civilians and significant damage to numerous homes.

According to posts by locals from the Mogok on social media, the juntaโ€™s bombing destroyed at least 10 homes and resulted in three civilian casualties.

On July 24 of this year, the TNLA (Taโ€™ang National Liberation Army) took control of Mogok Township in Mandalay Region from the junta. This airstrike comes four months after the town had been functioning under TNLA control.
